Photo Reference You provide a photo for me to paint, $100 discount (no sketches needed).
Custom Composition I design the concept: includes 2 sketches for approval (extra sketches $100 each).
Print Bonus If the subject has wide appeal (like a public landmark or still life) you'll receive a $50 discount as it may become part of my print collection.

Timeline
Most commissions take 4–8 weeks, depending on size, medium, and concept. Rush orders may be available (+50%).
Note on Detail: Highly intricate pieces (such as portrait, architecture, or complex still-life) naturally require more time and can influence final pricing. (+25%)

Pricing Formula
I keep pricing simple and transparent:
(Height + Width) × 27.77 = Total
This reflects the time, layering, and material cost of oil painting.
Large Format Adjustment
For pieces over 30" combined inches, add $55-per-inch beyond 30". This reflects the extra time, materials, and layering that go into large-scale work.

8" × 10" oil on canvas (8 + 10) × 27.77 = $500
12" × 16" oil on wood panel (photo + print bonus) ((12 + 16) × 27.77 = $778) – $150 = $628
20" × 24" oil on canvas (photo + print bonus) Large format: (44 - 30) × 55 = $770 ((20 + 24) × 27.77) + $770 - $150 = $1,842
Payment
A 20% deposit holds your spot and covers the early creative work that goes into planning your piece. Because that time and preparation start right away, the deposit is non-refundable.
Upon approval, the remaining balance is due. Once final payment is received, your painting is ready to go to its new home!
